Leslyn showed it to me Friday. Saw her walk up to the door holding the book. I held it in my hands, too. The true weight of a story. Fresh press smell - everything. So cool! Sigh. I get it - I'm a little emotional over a draft. I just can not tell you what an inspiration Leslyn is. I am so excited for her + so honored to be even a trivial part of this process. My whole body smiles when I think about it.
Totally intended to post a draft shot here - but then I had a moment - and needed to fix a couple formatting concerns I had. So, because I am a painfully unreasonable perfectionist - I will just share this quick snap I took with my phone. [...also the legit author photograph of beautiful Leslyn.]
