After seeing the documentary "Blackfish" I doubt I'll ever see entertainment animals the same way. However, we did get free tickets to the Circus. Soooo ... after properly re-dressing Mr. J - we went to get a rounded perspective. The kids lasted about 2 minutes before the family in back of us got $50 worth of cotton candy, popcorn, and slushies - and then the lights went out and we realized everyone had a light saber sword. $25, a popcorn, and two light sabers later, the kids loved us again. We were in the nose bleeds - so the kids were truly straining to see. Mr. N's favorite part were the gymnasts from Americas Got Talent, Mr. J's favorite part were the light saber swords. We left at intermission, with three delighted kids + the prospect of pizza in our future. Not the best Valentine's Day Weekend I have ever had (hard to top getting engaged so many years ago) - but there is definitely a warm element wrapped up in my favorite person and these three silly kids.
