{Buy the ticket, take the ride.} Hunter S. Thompson
With a 7:30AM flight home, we were out of the condo + nearly to the airport by 5AM.
Couple things I have learned traveling on a plane with kids.
1. It might be worth it get the extra seat for a kid under two. Lap traveling is NOT ideal.
2. That book I brought to read on the plane if "the baby falls asleep" was a joke.
3. Babies do not sleep on planes. Its a rule they have.
4. Boarding a plane with 3 kids - 4 and under invigorates a lot of supportive + kind eyes as we migrate down the isle.
5. Soak in those those "Im so sorry for you, loving eyes." About 10 minutes after take off my baby will probably kick your chair or play footsie with his hands underneath your seat.
6. 3 year olds and 4 year olds could probably travel by themselves. Sincerely awesome travelers.
7. The airplane noise actually drowns out 95% of baby babbling, talking LOUDLY, and even some screaming. Love that.
8. ALWAYS HAVE FOOD ON PLANE + be liberal with rations. Like give kids all the foods.
Overall, beautiful experience, extraordinary week, great travelers. xoxo
