After all the love + magic we encountered the day before - we packed up our Orlando hotel, and road tripped it to the home of two more Madison friends turned Floridian. [I am totally picking up on a trend here . . . when are we moooooving HUSBAND?] Despite my crazy overtired self - and a couple of sleepy kids, our friends, Dennis + Mike welcomed us into their home with an INCREDIBLE meal. Im talking chicken parmesan straight from heaven itself. Seriously. start. a. restaurant. I still dream about that meal. The salad and bread was melt in your mouth amazing, too. If that wasn't enough we had MANGO KEY LIME PIE for dessert. My mouth is watering. Like give me a sec, I need to go get some water or something. Loved our thoughtful conversation, and catching up. The kids loved the beautiful tour of their neighborhood - that pool was lovely! Then came time for farewells, so we got our hugs and set out for the gulf coast again. [Not without a fragrant gardenia flower in hand - from Dennis + Mike's personal collection!] On our drive back my husband even faced his fear of bridges - by driving up one that angles straight to the clouds!
