{I spent a long time trying to find my center until I looked closely one night & found it had wheels & moved easily in the slightest breeze, so now I spend less time sitting and more time sailing.} Story People

Who would schedule a sailing tour right before their wedding ... on their wedding day? THIS couple. Seriously, they are ridiculously fun. I had never been on a sail boat ... and was only slightly terrified of falling in with all my gear. Lucky for me ... it was a calm day. I had no shame as I climbed about the boat like someone gripping for their life. Then there was this awesome duo bouncing from place to place like pros ... in all their wedding chic-ness. I totally get it though, sailing - you have got to find your center when you sail, and they clearly found it within each other. (snaps!)

That was how we started the day, and I knew we were in for a party by that point. After a beautiful, tear felt ceremony at the Memorial Union, + a fantastic dinner spread, there was two awesome surprises at the reception. First BUCKY decided to show up + celebrate with the two alumni and their friends. Then the UW-MARCHING BAND made their appearance! It was terrific. Especially when the couple - who met while both playing in the UW Band - picked up some instruments and started playing along. I was in awe. Such an exciting night + a crazy awesome party! xoxo
