Such a beautiful wedding this one was! I have so many favorite parts of this day. The people, the location, everything was so carefully thought out and eloquently delivered. Being a health nut - to some degree - I was delighted to see that the reception meal was completely vegan and mouthwateringly delicious. They even included recipes for each of the guests to take home. So inspiring. This couple is living in New York, now - so their Minnesota wedding spoke all things midwest. The venue was in an old, vintage barn, - with beautiful trees + paths lining the area. The chandeliers everywhere were just magical. Now typically this would be enough to have me just floating in photography heaven - but then you throw in an awesome wedding party - a musical ceremony + and a couple I have known to be true and connected since college - I was floored on all accounts. Loooove. xoxo

Oh heavens to Betsy, what lovely pictures! I can relive the wedding, and enjoy it this time. I must admit I was having a bit of deja vu, recalling my own wedding on this same date in 1952. Did you know that Grandpa Henry Pluth died while Richard and I were in Europe, shortly after the wedding? It was a very suspicious death, but oddly, both the coroner and the police force in St. Cloud were all freemasons, so they covered it up., of course. It is still a very corrupt city. Nothing much has changed.
Mister Paul, you certainly married upwards, and how.

beautiful, and beautifully photographed! I've never seen such a splendid Mason wedding, and that is saying a lot. My brother-in-law looks like he could cry for joy! Deb and I loved it, and as fellow sisters of the Order we said Amen so many times!

Claire, you captured it all! Thank you so much for bringing us back to the day, which we will now be able to visit anytime we'd like! I'm struck by the colors, the crazy textures and backgrounds of the barn, and the love of our family and friends. You are so supremely talented, and we were so lucky to work with you this summer.
