{All that I'm after is a life full of laughter.}
Our third-born-only-child. From the moment he was born, his big brothers were always off doing their own thing. His dad and I sat around cooing over his every move - like he was our only kid. Now he is equal parts middle kid + little kid and rocking life as a big brother + little brother with intense enthusiasm. He, without a doubt, has the most advanced humor for a kid his age I have ever heard. Guys, he has made me spit milk through my nose on multiple occasions. In public, even. I can't take him anywhere. His facial expressions could win an Emmy any day. He is compassionate beyond his years. The "are you sure?" as a response to announcing his age will finally subside as he is FINALLY FOUR. Such an awesome human. xo
To sum up, document, and preserve some of Zion's sweet, compassionate + silliness here some of the more recent anecdotes:
Kenn: Whats your favorite color?
Zi: EVERYCOLOR!
Kenn: What's your favorite animal?
Zi: ALL THE ANIMALS!
Kenn: Who's your favorite friend?
Zi: ALL MY FRIENDS!
Kenn: Whats your favorite food?
Zi: ALL THE FOOD!! WHAT?! I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING, OKAY?!
Teacher is sitting next to Zion on the playground.
Teacher: What are you going to be for Halloween?
Zion: Darth Vader - everyone knows him. What are you going to be?
Teacher: Tinkerbell.
Zion: Oh really?! Tell me ALL about her!
Jude: I like our big family.
Me: How many kids are you going to have when you grow up?
Jude: I am going to have 3 girls and 3 boys, so six kids.
Noah: Just one. Kids are expensive.
