{A cupcake is happiness with icing on top!}

When your favorite wedding planner, Wood Violet Events and Styling brings you your favorite dessert - and says we need to try these for ... ahem ... quality control. You say. OOOOOKKKKAAAAYYY. Guys. These are To Di For. Both in their name, and in their description. 

First, we tried the Salted Caramel Chocolate. We agreed - we honestly have never understood what the word "tantalizing" referred to - until we tried this one. The frosting, guys, this one was my favorite for sure. The mix of sweet and salty was in perfect balance. 

We tried the the Gingerbread cupcake next. This one was a close second for me - the cream cheese frosting paired with the spiced cake was soooo yummy - even for the self described "not a gingerbread person" Dominique loved it! It has that warm feel good flavor - and with a little gingerbread cookie on top - it leaves nothing to be desired. Except - maybe a cup of coffee to enjoy it with. Naturally.

The Hopeless Romantic was our last specialty cupcake to try - and it did not disappoint. It is a vanilla cupcake with Nutella and Raspberries swirled throughout - topped with Champagne Icing. Basically a whole party in your mouth. Yes, I said that. It was moist, decadent (another word we got a better understanding of through these cupcakes) and swirly (our word.) The raspberry and Nutella swirl around every bite. Dominique claimed it as her favorite immediately! With the raspberries we also both agreed that it would be the healthiest choice ... and likely the most pleasurable way to get a serving of fruit (totally an expert opinion, there.) xo

The Vanilla and Chocolate flavors were classic and amazing. With each decorated so elegantly, it made us sort of regretful to take the first bite -- but by the time we took our last bites, we really weren't too concerned anymore. Sooooo tasty! Thank you so much for the cupcakes, To Di For! I am going through cupcake withdrawals now and will be back soon! xo
