"Because we are all just kids who grew up way to fast."
We have finally reached a time in our children's childhood when everyone is walking, talking, potty trained, and well mannered. And while we never exclusively planned the type of activities we did based on these expectations ... let me tell you THIS AGE IS PURE MAGIC for all things adventure. Yesterday, we planned a trip to Little Amerika in Marshall, Wi. From my memories of it as a child I was nervous that it would be too "old school" for my tech loving, code writing kids to enjoy. I was happily mistaken as my face hurt from all the smiling, laughing, and screaming (from delight mostly + some overall fear of heights!) Equipped with 3 buy one get one Bucky Book coupons we had non stop entertainment, nearly no wait in lines, and all the memory making magic you could possibly hope for. I really appreciated the modest size of the park. We were able to go on all the rides we wanted, without having to feel like we missed something. We also left a couple of things to do next time when the kids are older, taller, and when (lets be honest) I grow out of my "over protective mom" stage. Already looking forward out our next trip! xo
