Our fourth day in the Arizona desert - and the forecast was rain for nearly the whole morning! Luckily we had an indoor activity planned + we completely avoided the dreary weather. Sea Life was great! The aquarium was full of sharks, sea turtles, sea urchins, and tons of colorful fish. We loved the little portals that allowed the kids to peak into the aquarium for an inside view! The kids also had "passports" to get stamped. At the end of the tour - they got a prize (a medal) for completing their passport. They had a great Aquanauts theme, too - which held the attention of our littlest kids.

After the aquarium, we stopped off to get some Groupon Barbecue. It was a ridiculous deal that had us all fed for one meal - and we had leftovers to last us another meal. When you are a family of 6 - it is a true miracle when it works out so nicely!

We finally made it to our main priority of the day - to hang with family! When we arrived, it was like a botanical gardens with all of the flowers from the memorial earlier in the week. :] We had so much fun hanging with 5 of Uncle Greg's 7 daughters along with their wonderful mother + grandmother. We were introduced to snap chat and discovered that when you switch Noah + Jude's faces there is actually zero difference! So much fun.

We took the long way home, exploring the city of Phoenix. We also stretched our legs and stopped off at a mural we had seen a couple of times. We finally got home that night with two sleepy littles. We got them in bed and stayed up late teaching the two bigs how to play Monopoly. It was a blast. They actually picked up on it really quickly and things got a little competitive! ;] (Seriously, check out that bottom Instagram picture - Kenn + I were struggling. The kids caught on a little quick for comfort.) A great way to wrap up the night. xo
